When Ana was about 10 years old she wrote for school a short story about her Grandma. She was explaining her about the ski gear and got to mention ski poles made of bamboo. Ana was surprised why bamboo? Her grandma explained that it was the most durable and the best pole they could have. They had one pair in the family of 7. This got stuck in her mind since then. A decade later she saw a bamboo ski poles offer and bought herself a first pair. She was more than happy you could tell! In the meantime she met Frank, the mastermind behind the company. He fell in love with poles as well! A year later, after snapping his carbon poles in deep Japanese powder, he went for bamboo ones as well.
After three years we started to wonder how to build these amazing bamboo ski poles ourselves. We did some research on the internet and got in contact with various pole makers who helped us a lot and we succeeded in building poles. Both of us are international certified ski instructors with many years of experience. We worked in Austria, The Netherlands, Slovenia and Japan. We love off-piste skiing looking for deep powder the most, but we are always down for a good carve on the slopes or some park laps.
